Little Kollyns was such a sleeping angel during our session. I loved being able to capture this special time for their family. When I do lifestyle newborn sessions, I try to use 2-3 different rooms or locations throughout the home to give clients some variety. Those location typically include the nursery, master-bedroom and living room, although I do love a pretty kitchen shot and I always try to get a photo of the family at the front door. Other areas I like to shot within homes, include stairways, entry ways, sunrooms and really any room that has pretty window light - so don't worry we can move around the extra baby stuff to get the perfect shot. If you are nervous about having your session at your home, we can always talk about the rooms in your home and narrow down the place spaces to focus on having ready or there is always the option of renting a studio or airbnb to do your session at!
